A FIRST COUNTY RECORD FOR CHILTERN JUNIOR

At long last one our Juniors has been awarded a Hertfordshire County Record.  The first for Chiltern Archers.  The certificate was awarded by our very own Mark Hutton, Secretary of the Herts Archery Association, at the club BBQ on Wednesday 6th August 2008.

Alex North, aged 10, has been awarded the County Record for the Short Metric IV, with a score of 569 .  This was shot at the summer league shoot against Beacon Archers on the 29th June 2008 in what can only be described as very windy and difficult conditions.

The previous record was 20 points less and stood for only one month before Alex took it for Chiltern.  Before that the record had stood for about 2 years.

Alex was stunned to receive this record as he didn't know that he had done it.

We are sure that you will agree that he may have a talent for this.
